How DigitalHelp processes personal data under GDPR.

DigitalHelp OÜ determines the purposes and means of personal data processing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Estonian law.

2. Processing purposes, data categories and legal basis

2.1 Sports projects and media content

Data categories: name, age, team, position, statistics, disciplinary records, photo/video materials, interviews and comments.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (contract), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in documenting and publishing sports activity).

2.2 Live broadcasts and recordings

Data categories: image, voice, in-game actions.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in recording and broadcasting public sports events).

2.3 Sales of goods, tickets and services

Data categories: name, contacts, address, payment details, order history.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (contract), GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligations, including accounting).

2.4 Contact forms and marketing

Data categories: name, email, message content.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in business communication).

3. Public events and publications

Publication of results, statistics, disciplinary decisions and standings is treated as part of sports reporting and history.

Player statistics and match results may be stored indefinitely as part of sports history.

4. Social networks and third-party platforms

We use external platforms (such as YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Telegram and others). These platforms may act as independent data controllers under their own policies.

After publication, we do not fully control further data processing by third parties.

5. Minors

For participants under 18, consent is provided by legal guardians and/or official team representatives within their authority.

6. Data retention periods

  • accounting documents - 7 years (Estonian law);
  • contact data - up to 3 years after interaction;
  • marketing data - until consent withdrawal;
  • sports statistics and results - indefinitely.

7. Data transfers

Data may be transferred to hosting providers, IT contractors, payment services, streaming platforms and public authorities upon lawful request. Transfers are carried out in accordance with GDPR.

8. Security measures

We apply organizational and technical safeguards, including secure servers, access controls, monitoring and contractual obligations for contractors.

9. Data subject rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure (where applicable), restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent and data portability.

10. Complaints

If you believe your rights were violated, you may contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (AKI).

11. Policy changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always published on digitalhelp.ee.
